The Pitch: Advertising and marketing news for 12.27.22

The Martin Agency named Tasha Dean as its first chief revenue officer. She was previously head of integrated production. Dean will be responsible for revenue growth development and report to CEO Kristen Cavallo.

Brett Alexander

Martin named Brett Alexander managing director, head of integrated production, effective Jan. 1. He will report to Dean. Alexander has been at Martin for 15 years in various roles, most recently as a senior vice president, group executive producer.

Arts & Letters was named lead brand creative agency for  Tito’s Handmade Vodka. The account win followed the agency’s work on the Austin, Texas-based distillery’s “Tito’s in a Can” campaign in August, Ad Age reports.

Alice Blue completed a TV spot for Sazerac Company’s Southern Comfort brand. Featuring a man in a whiskey bottle suit, the spot involved production from Spang TV.

Evergib’s campaign for Atlantis Bahamas debuted at Heathrow Airport in the UK.

Evergib picked up more work for next year from client DirecTV. Projects will focus on brand strategy, naming and messaging. The agency developed a campaign for Atlantis Paradise Island resort in the Bahamas. The campaign debuted at Heathrow Airport in the UK and is currently running in multiple print publications.

Xponent21 developed a new website for Layr, a New York City-based window film and graphics installer.  Work included new homepage content, site design and a content engine for publishing and distribution.

River City Consulting completed websites for Verdure Ventures, Flip Flops & Tiaras, Demi’s Cupcakes, Skinfluence Face & Body, IE Wellness Center and Wilton Construction.

Parkwood Creative created two broadcast spots for insurance company Allianz Partners. One spot highlighted the company’s 2022 Richmond Marathon sponsorship, and the other was a recruitment piece.



Parkwood also wrapped up a 10-video series for Newport News-based Ferguson Enterprises, a recruitment piece for Schnabel Engineering in Glen Allen, and a video highlighting the junior kindergarten program at St. Christopher’s School.

Creative Visual Design updated EAT Restaurant Partners’ websites for Red Salt, Hot Chick, Catering by EAT and Fat Dragon. An updated for Wong’s Tacos is in production, and the firm will complete the rest of the restaurant group’s sites in the new year. The updates are designed to create a common layout and structure across the brands. CVD also completed a video and photo project for landscape company Glen Allen Grounds.
